Al Daayen Municipality's gardens section, in co-operation with Maria Al Qibtya Preparatory School for Girls, has carried out a tree-planting event as part the million trees' initiative.
The students were introduced to the importance of trees on the environment and the positive impacts on the quality of life.
They planted some seedlings of trees and seasonal flowers in the school garden.
