The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) launched a new eco-friendly collection of Team Qatar kits, produced by the QOC in co-operation with Baby Elephant Organic Wear, last Friday and Saturday at The Gate Mall.
This co-operation with the Qatari company, which produces 100% organic cotton clothing, comes in light of the QOC's commitment to sustainability as environmental development is one of the major pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, a press statement notes.
The new stylish collection has been chosen to suit the daily style of modern life for all age groups and for both genders, and bears the Team Qatar brand.
"The QOC believes that sustainability is our duty towards future generations, so we will be always keen to launch new eco-friendly projects which help achieve Qatar National Vision 2030," said QOC marketing and communications director Sheikha Asma al-Thani. “The QOC has launched its unique Team Qatar X Baby Elephant eco-friendly collection in line with our collaboration with local Qatari brands and designers and to contribute to supporting the local markets.”
“It is our responsibility for the future generations to look at sustainable and healthy solutions,” said Baby Elephant founder Aysha al-Mudahka. “The Baby Elephant team is very proud to be chosen as a local partner of the QOC for the Team Qatar line, especially this year.”
The new collection is now available at Salam Stores (The Gate), Kido children’s store (The Gate and Doha Festival City), and Concrete (The Gate), in addition to the official website of Baby Elephant and Snoonu delivery application.
